Today, we’re announcing an investment in LinqAlpha by certain partners of AQR in their personal capacity. They join our $22 million Series A, led by AVP, Atinum Investment and GFT Ventures, with participation from SBI Investment, Z Venture Capital, Samsung Securities, Mirae Asset Venture Investment, NH Investment & Securities, Shinhan Venture Investment, Hana Ventures, Betatron Venture Group, East Ventures, SV Investment and NuVentures.
This investment recognizes LinqAlpha’s success of proven deployments at more than 70 financial institutions managing over $5 trillion in collective assets, including Tiger Cub hedge funds, multi-manager platforms, a bulge-bracket trading desk and some of the world’s largest asset managers. It was reinforced by a model-agnostic architecture that connects more than 20 data sources through a single endpoint institutions plug into their own research pipelines, and by a product roadmap built for how analysts and portfolio managers actually work, from meeting agents that sit in broker and expert calls to a memory layer that carries an analyst’s framework from one session to the next. And it reflects a shared view of where AI in public markets is heading.
“Research teams are overwhelmed by unstructured information and struggle to connect the dots. LinqAlpha has built something that can actually solve that: a platform that turns filings, transcripts, broker research and expert calls into insights an investment team can act on.”
AQR partner
We will use this round to stand up a dedicated distribution team, to embed forward-deployed engineers with our institutional clients, and to strengthen the core product team building the platform.
Thank you to the AQR partners for their investment, to our clients for their trust, and to our team, whose work is the reason any of this exists.
