LinqAlpha’s AI agents can now extract structured non-financial KPIs from 8-K filings, transforming qualitative text into usable tabular insights for analysts and investors.
Operational KPIs often appear in narrative form buried in earnings press releases, footnotes, or CEO remarks. But these non-financial signals can be just as critical as financials for understanding company performance, especially in sectors like consumer, internet, or SaaS.
Our latest release demonstrates how LinqAlpha's AI agents turn qualitative 8-K text into structured, machine-readable datasets. Using a combination of retrieval, chunk parsing, and LLM-based entity extraction, we built a dataset of 10 years of quarterly non-financial KPIs for U.S. public firms, starting with Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG).
Example metrics include:
New store openings per quarter
Digital sales growth
Delivery penetration rate
Loyalty program member count
This information is now accessible in a clean tabular format, updated continuously and ready for screening, valuation models, or time-series tracking.
This dataset is now live on the Snowflake Marketplace: Non-Financial KPIs from 8-Ks → View on Snowflake
This capability will be integrated into LinqAlpha’s Company Screener later this year, expanding access to sector-specific KPI libraries across consumer, software, fintech, and industrials.
